POLO? IN KAYAKS?

Yes, there really is such a sport. It's very fun and fast and great exercise to boot. Marilyn's made the national U.S. women's team, competing at the Pan American Games in Los Angeles in October 2003, and planning to compete at the World Championships in Japan in 2004.

Marilyn's number 13 here, this is from the U.S. Nationals/Pan American Games 2003.

Another big difference from 'regular' water polo is how high the goal is off the water.

Whitewater slalom's the latest kayaking adventure ... yeah, that's Marilyn again, competing at the Kern River Slalom 2003 ... okay, so she missed five gates, it was her first event - the next one at the American river she took second place in the novice division.

Whitewater is also loads of fun and excitement. A cool thing about surfing the river is when you catch a wave, you stay in one place (for a change).
