In-house projects (2003)

So as not to wonder why there are no references for 2003, this year was focused on creating in-house training products and professional development projects.

Wells Fargo Bank said (2002):

I want to tell you just how much better these modules work for training purposes than the format we were using a couple of years ago. The difference is like night & day. Amazing....It's outstanding work!

WOW!!! I am really impressed with what she's done. This will give us a really good idea of what we need to spend more time on in a refresher. Nice job!

Marilyn brings an awesome fresh pair of eyes. I bow in her presence.

The Trust for Public Land said (2002):

Marilyn, your style and skills shine through in a positive way in all the class materials, as well as the online help and CBT.

Your attention to detail and overall flexibility were greatly appreciated and we will continue to use the valuable resources you developed for a long time to come. And you're right, "Training can be fun!"

The GAP said (2001):

The program that was developed for GAP Inc. could not have met the aggressive timeline without Marilyn's continuous efforts. She put in many long hours to ensure the programs were completed on time but never sacrificed the quality. I strongly believe these training programs will have a lasting effect on the Shared Service Center and set the standard for internal GAP Inc. training.

Marilyn is very creative when developing training and resourceful in managing multiple tasks. She has the business savvy to work with upper management while providing guidance and support to her team members. She is a great asset.

Teradyne - for Intel said (1998-2000):

Intel set the specifications and approved the course. Intel's training manager said the design and materials were "far better" than any other supplier trainings he'd received. Teradyne said:

I have found Marilyn to be a conscientious, professional consultant who provides a high quality product on time and within budget ... Also, she has often provided recommendations or options to improving the original course, along with the ramifications in time and cost which would be entailed.

I readily recommend Marilyn as a training vendor and hope to utilize her services in the future as needed.

- written 10 months into a three-year span of contracts
- developed 7 successful technical courses for this client

Kaiser Permanente said (1996-1997):

Her course design skills are exceptional. Marilyn's written materials are extremely high quality and the amount of work she produces is outstanding. She is excellent at information gathering. She doesn't wait to be told how the system works, she finds out herself. In addition, she has an excellent user perspective.

Marilyn's project planning and analysis skills are also exceptional. She sets reasonable, achievable milestones. And, more important, she always has ideas and strategies for problem solving. She knows how to produce an effective training and documentation package on schedule.

... She is as reliable a consultant as I have worked with.
